Welcome to the Port Vale Memorabilia Project Website

This website features examples of the memorabilia relating to Port Vale FC and the surrounding area. This work has been made possible as a result of a grant from Awards For All successfully bid by the “Vale Park Community Initiative”. I would like to place on record my thanks to the many people who have made this website possible. We have tried to eliminate errors relating to dates etc. but please accept my apologies if we have included any inaccuracies.

It is not intended to cover the history of the football club but to exhibit items which have been donated or purchased recently which we hope will engage, interest and educate people of all ages. We would like to place on record our thanks to all those supporters who over the years have donated items of interest to the football club. Some of these items already form the basis of literacy projects being undertaken with local schools and future intentions include involving more schools in literacy and history projects as well as inviting groups of older people who have memories of the 1950’s.
